Our Impact
Our work goes beyond buildings -
we aim to rebuild the fabric of community.
We believe that real estate is a platform for lasting change. Our commitment to community is woven into everything we do—from philanthropic giving to active leadership in nonprofit organizations across the country. Through charitable donations, hands-on service, and purpose-driven programs, we invest in people and places to help communities thrive.
Whether it’s through The Ascent Project, which brings community development directly into our real estate work, or through The Integral Collaborative, which uplifts the next generation of Black real estate developers, we’re focused on creating a more equitable, empowered future. For us, success isn’t just about what we build —it’s about the lives we help shape along the way.
The Ascent Project: Uplifting Communities from Within
In historically undercapitalized neighborhoods, social challenges often lead to financial uncertainty. The Ascent Project (TAP) works to change that dynamic by integrating place-based support programs directly into housing and community developments.
Through workforce readiness, adult education, youth mentorship , and leadership development , TAP helps strengthen local infrastructure from within—building trust, reducing displacement, and supporting long-term neighborhood stability.
By aligning with local partners and developers, The Ascent Project creates conditions where communities—and investments—can thrive together.
The Integral Collaborative:
Expanding Opportunity in Real Estate
The Integral Collaborative is a bold initiative designed to increase diversity, equity, and representation in the real estate industry. Recognizing the systemic barriers faced by Black developers—especially around access to capital and mentorship—we created The Integral Collaborative to provide a national network of support for emerging Black-owned real estate firms.
Through hands-on partnership and deep industry expertise, we guide firms across every stage of the development process—from planning and pre-development to construction, asset management, and disposition. In collaboration with forward-thinking financial institutions like Reinvestment Fund and Berkadia , The Integral Collaborative also provides equitable access to pre-development capital and resources essential for long-term growth.
This initiative reflects our broader commitment to building an inclusive industry and empowering the next generation of developers to shape communities—and the future—with confidence and success.
